Courtney grew up in upstate New York and Chicago then moved out west to attend UCLA where she studied Acting & Art History. Upon graduating she began writing and performing improv, sketch & stand-up comedy while studying at Upright Citizens Brigade, iO West & The Groundlings. She has also studied under Tom Todoroff and John Ruskin in Los Angeles & New York City. She now focuses on creating content as a writer/director.
